One of my new favorite things is putting my hands on a brand new wedding album. It's the smell, the feel and the sense of completion that makes it so exciting. It's something that will last for years to come and be a family treasure. This week I got two back on the same day and wanted to share the excitement. Enjoy.

Ross Bridge, AL was the backdrop for my first engagement session of the year. I am coming around to winter being one of my favorite times of the year to shoot and tonight Callie and Michael helped make this overcast, winter shoot memorable. They couldn't have been more fun as we blazed soggy trails through the beautiful Ross Bridge backdrop.  Congrats to Callie and Michael! Now I leave you now with a few of my favorites.

What a year it's been. Before we closed the books on '09 I wanted to get away and spend some quality time with the people I love the most. So team Coldiron packed up and headed to the beach where we'll greet the new year. It's colder than most beach trips, but it's been amazing so far just being with my sweet family. Here are a few of the last images I'll take in 2009 and I couldn't be more excited about the subjects. Happy New Years to all!

The Hunt family brought their A-game for a little Christmas time shoot. There was also just enough color leftover from fall to make these shots come alive. Enjoy.

 

It doesn't get much easier than this...perfect weather, energetic boys and lot's of incredible moments to capture with some incredible people. Here are a few of my favorites.

This shoot was particularly fun. The Griffin's are amazing people and great friends and on top of that, Chris is also an amazing musician, if you want to hear some of his incredible music then click here.

I have had the pleasure of shooting the Gonzalez family several times over the last year. This winter shoot was one of my favorites.

Downtown Homewood was the backdrop for a little Christmas Card shoot with the Dorr family, some of the most absolutely wonderful people I know.

2009 was an amazing year for KJP and you all made it amazing. Now, it's my turn to give back by giving away a free shoot in 2010!!!! We had so many favorites it was hard to choose, but here are just a few to make things easier.
